I recently learned that Bruce Knowles passed away. I don’t remember him well but I do remember his family. His parents were Howard and Ruth Knowles. He had a cousin named Larry in the class of 1953 and a half sister named Gwen (Knowles) Russell who was also in the class of 1953. Gwen marred Ira Russell who was in the class of 1951. Bruce also had a younger brother, Kenny.

Thank you for posting about Ronnie and Bruce. Both were a year younger than me but I remember them well. Both were good guys. Nice to their class mates and friends and .respectful. Both played football and were pretty good athletes..
Seeing those younger than me pass gives me a greater sense of how blessed I am to have each day to be thankful to God for the family I have and the many friends I had growing up in Trona and the impact their lives have had on me.
