AJ Klant was the manager of the American Trona Company predecessor of AP&CC. This picture was probably taken about 1915. The wooden ladders were eventually replaced by ladders made of steel. I think those were probably removed in the late 1980s after a death occurred at the falls. Water from the falls was piped into tank for use in Trona and Pioneer Point. Joe Pillott managed the water system for AP&CC.
