Marion Joan Hammon, age 76, of Lakewood, Colorado passed away on Sunday June 16, 2019. Marion was born May 30, 1943 in Trona, California to John and Lucille Heter. Marion married Jim Hammon on August 14, 1964 in Burbank, CA. Marion worked for the National Forest service for over 20 years.

Marion is survived by her loving husband Jim, daughter Jannice Schamel, fifteen grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and brother Duane Heter. She is preceded in death by her parents John & Lucille, one daughter Evonne Freemyer, two brothers and one sister.

A funeral services for Marion will be held Friday, June 21, 2019 at 1:30 PM at Olinger Highland Chapel, 10201 Grant St, Thornton, CO 80229. A burial will occur at Olinger Highland Mortuary & Cemet, 10201 Grant St, Thornton, Colorado 80229.
